Elmbridge Climate Change Citizens' Panel

In 2019, Elmbridge Borough Council declared a climate emergency and made the pledge to be a carbon neutral organisation by 2030. The Council also set an ambitious goal: to become a carbon neutral borough by 2050. There are climate change plans in place to support the vision of a thriving and sustainable Elmbridge, but the council need your input to help shape the plans for 2050.

Following a climate change survey which gathered your views on the climate change priorities for the borough, the council hosted a Climate Change Citizens’ Panel. The panel worked on turning your suggestions and ideas into actionable steps.

The Chair of Green Elmbridge, Nick Davis, was invited to sit on the panel’s advisory group. If you have any questions about this process or GE’s involvement, please email Nick at greenelmbridge@gmail.com
