Less Waste, More Share and Repair: Webinar on Helping Communities Cut Consumption

Emissions from goods produced outside Surrey are broadly double all the county’s transport, heating and other direct emissions added together.

So how can we support communities to cut consumption?

Across Surrey, Repair Cafes, Libraries of Things, and Bike Amnesties are tackling this problem head on.

Book onto this webinar to learn more about these projects, what they are achieving, and how to set up and run them.

We’ll hear from groups that have set up ‘bike amnesty’ projects, ensuring unloved bikes are refurbished and provided for free to households in Surrey’s low income areas. Also on the programme: a new Grant fund to help community groups with their waste reduction projects, including Libraries of Things and Repair cafes, and how to set up and run those projects too.

Book onto the free webinar on the 20th November here, and please do share with anyone else you think may be interested
